SUMMER BIBLE STUDY

“THE NT” is a bible study for high school students centered on the New Testament.  We will be doing an in depth study into the teachings of Jesus and many different NT writers including Luke, Paul, and even James!  Each week we will focus on topics or events that happen in the NT, and some weeks we'll attack some debates that happen in the NT.  Jesus Christ taught truths contrary to the culture of his time, and these truths still go against what our culture tells us today.  Ever wondered what the NT really says about love?  Ever wondered why being a servant is really important?  Ever wondered what your role in the church is?  Then come hang with us at the Starbucks on Herndon at Clovis Ave in Clovis every Monday nights June 9th to Aug 4th at 7 pm.

MISSION PROJECTS
CHY High School is active in mission projects that bring the love of Christ to many people in our local, and state community.

  CLOVIS

Students of all ages are making a difference across North America. On a World Changers Construction Project, students serve alongside each other to impact communities for the kingdom of God. Projects include painting houses, replacing roofs, and other refurbishment construction work. Even though World Changers has become a strategic plan to eliminate substandard housing for many communities, the focus is still changing the world of the participant by giving them a hands-on mission experience.

Matamoros Mexico Mission Trip July 12-18, 2008

Although it's only a few miles south of the border of Texas, you don't have to go any farther than Matamoros to find a world of poverty and need.

Your team will work in local neighborhoods and farming communities to help families who are poor materially and spiritually. Your day will be divided between construction, evangelism, prayer, and children's ministries.

Our goal is to strengthen local churches and ministries. We'll work alongside our Mexican brothers and sisters to change Matamoros for Christ.
