JR. HIGH SWAG (Students Worshiping an Awesome God)

We have some crazy good times on Wednesdays at SWAG! Doors open to the Jr. High Room (304) for you to hang out and meet with friends at 6:00pm. Pizza ($1 per slice) & soda ($1.5 per 20oz bottle) are available for purchase during "Hang Time". Program starts at 6:25 pm with some crazy games, singing praise, inspirational teaching from the Bible, and a small group time for us to know each other better. Program ends at 8:00pm.
Big Hairy Event!!
We believe that it is important to invite our friends to a place where they will hear about the great love of Jesus. Once a month, SWAG has a big outreach night that we lovingly call...the BIG HAIRY EVENT!! This is a night where we have a blast either playing a big game on campus, or we meet at a fun place in the community. Every one of these nights ends with the good news of Jesus being presented and allowing people to respond and accept the relationship that he has offered us!! The next BHE is.....
Hume Lake Winter Camp
Is Just around the corner!!
Jr. High will be going to winter camp January 27th – 29th.
The following information was on the registration, but the majority of students did not tear it off.
Departure: * Friday, January 27
* We will pull out of Clovis Hills back Parking lot at 3:00PM
* Students can begin arriving as early as 2:30 and students should arrive no later than
2:50 since loading up the busses and getting situated will take a few minutes.
Return: * Sunday, January 29th

We are using a charter with a bathroom on board the bus so we will not stop along the way. If you want drinks/snacks for the ride you need to bring them with you. However, please don’t bring large amounts of junk food. Many kids get sick if they consume too much junk food on the bus ride up.

(Remember: Girls, no bare midriffs or spaghetti straps; guys, no sagging.) There are only two activities not included in the cost which are “The Screamer” ($5) and Paintball ($10). Questions about what to bring please contact Jon Annin.
What NOT to Bring - Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor), alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, firearms, electronic devices. (Remember: There is no cell phone coverage up at camp, so leave it at home!)
